1 cup almond meal
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
¼ cup cacao powder or cocoa
4 tablespoons coconut
2 tablespoons almond butter
2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or ghee
2 tablespoons maple syrup (make sure it is pure maple syrup and not maple flavoured syrup)
1½ tablespoons cacao nibs (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and scoop small spoonful’s and squeeze tightly in the palm of your hand then roll into a ball. Store them in the fridge or freezer.
Note: for dairy free version use a pea and rice protein powder and use coconut oil instead of ghee.
