Infrared sauna’s help you to sweat, which helps remove toxins such as heavy metals and chemicals from our body. We all have a load of toxins in our body from sprays on our fruit and vegetables. There are heavy metals in our soil and in our drinking water and many people are exposed to an extra load from their workplace. We are also exposed to toxins through vaccinations, cleaning products, skin care and amalgam fillings – just to name a few.

There is no question that we are exposed to toxins everyday – it just depends on your unique body to how well you will be able to get rid of them. As a result of the genetic testing that is now available I now know that I have a gene variation that means my body struggles to get rid of toxins (40% of people have this gene variation to some extent). As a result I have to support my body in anyway I can to not only reduce my exposure to toxins, but to make sure I can remove them. Infrared sauna’s are a great way to do this. It’s not only gene variations that can cause your body to have a reduced ability to remove toxins, if you’re stressed, not sleeping well or don’t have the many nutrients needed then your body may also be struggling to remove toxins. These toxins can interfere with many different biochemical pathways and cause havoc in your body.
