Protein Balls


Ingredients
1 cup almond meal
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons good quality-whey protein powder
¼ cup cacao powder or cocoa
4 tablespoons coconut (optional)
2 tablespoons almond butter
2 tablespoons melted coconut oil, butter or ghee
2 tablespoons maple syrup (make sure it is pure maple syrup and not maple flavoured syrup)
1 tablespoon tahini
1½ tablespoons cacao nibs (optional)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowel and scoop small spoonful’s and squeeze tightly in the palm of your hand then roll into a ball. Store them in the fridge or freezer.
Note: for dairy free version use a pea and rice protein powder and use coconut oil instead of butter or ghee.
